Probably an age old question but I'm gonna ask it anyways. Do you store your machine/machines with the carb bowl full of gas or empty, and what are some of the steps you do when putting them away for the winter. As for me I never really put them away, I always start and let them run every few weeks. As for the one I mow with, I just clean the bottom side of the deck real good and that's pretty much it. I do however make sure they all have non-ethenol gas and fuel stabilizer in them though. Come spring they all get the oil changed and its back to play time.

If your not gonna run them I would fill the tank, put fuel stabilizer in and shut fuel off and run the carb dry and put some kind of trickle charger on or just charge the battery once a month. I push snow with mine to so I change oil pull the deck clean it up.

I use mine in the winter so no storage. We used to store Dad's 125/782 by putting sta- bil in the tank then run it for a few minutes to get it to get in the carb/line, then put her in the garage/barn till spring.
