Snow blade
3 Attachment(s)
I bought a snow blade today for my 125 and when I was looking up how to attach the lift rod I saw that there needs to be a Lift Arm. Now I do not have the lift arm with the snow blade. I will need to make one but the part I am not sure of is how this attaches on the bottom side. Is this around the rod for the foot rest? I also have the front hydraulic attachment and not sure if I am going to have to remove this to install the lift rod?

The front hydraulic outlets are not factory. Someone (perhaps you IDK) made them, so you will have to figure out if they need removed or relocated for installation of the blade.
As far as the piece that is missing from the hydraulic lift unit, I cannot find a part number for it. Lew (darkminion) would probably be the man to answer than question. You may be able to find one. From the pics, it looks simple to make. Yes, it does attach to the rod that goes under the footrest. Now, whether it us made solid with a hole, or a U-shaped hole with a bolt, I do not know. Either is fine. As far as a manual lift adapter handle is concerned, the 125's were supposed to have the the style with the solid hole, IIRC. Like I said, looks easy to make. |
The bracket needed for the snow blade that goes on the lift just slips over the rock shaft from the top down. There is a slot at the bottom of it and it is held at the top (in this case, a bolt on the hydraulic lift. On mine it's bolted to the lift rod with a U bolt.)

Looks like a regular lift rod will hit your hydraulics that were added on.You may have to make some kinda lift rod that attaches from below the footrest, sorta like on a 2182?
The part # is here on page 10 # 23 http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=24722 |
I put my plow on my 123 with hydro lift. I have #23 item as shown but there's no provision for the u bolt since there's no manual lift arm. My plow lift rod still went into the corresponding hole but I believe there's a different #23 for the hydro lift setup, I just removed it all before I traded the 123, I will try to take pic and measurements if you want. That hydro setup is sweet but not OEM. Looks like combination of wf lift handle and valve, and nf setup, interesting.

Here is the different one for your curiosity

I didn't know there were different brackets. The one I have is the one pictured with the slot.

ebay has these paddles from time to time. i bought one for my 105 for $20.00.

the others has been modified for the hydro or elift

Thanks for the help
I got the plow mounted on the tractor now. I will Fab up some kind of bracket in the next week or so. I was looking at the lift rod and it does not seem to interfere with the hydraulics. It seems like it is a little short to make it inline with the foot rest rod and the lift arm so I might have to do a offset hole to make it work. I am not sure if it is the correct lift rod or not :bigthink:.
Thanks for the pictures and ideas. I will post more pictures when it is complete. |
