Brinly BB-360 Scraper Question

I have a Brinly BB-360 scraper that came with my 1450 that I picked up in January. I moved the three point over to my 1000 and put a lower bracket on it. I need the scraper and have a question.

The scraper came with an arm that you can use to add some down pressure when scraping. I can't figure out where it attaches on the scraper. Does anyone have a scraper with the arm that they can photograph and post so I can see how to attach the arm?

This is my 1000 with the scraper attached:

This is a close-up of the attachment point:

This is a picture of the scarper that has the arm attached. It isn't my scraper. I wish it was taken from the other side so I cvould see how it is attached:

To get down pressure, you will need straps instead of chain.

I can make you straps and a lift pin.

How much further out is the hole in the extended pin from stock?

2"-3" longer depending on what length pin you're comparing it to.

I'm not convinced that the handle is for down pressure. Jeff is correct (just backing you Jeff) about replacing the chain with straps. I'm sure that's how it's supposed to lift.

FWIW, you don't need down pressure. Just takes the weight off the rear tires, then you can't pull. A rear attachment set and properly operated doesn't need down pressure. Or any attachment for that matter. I'd still replace the chain lift with a set of straps from Jeff. :beerchug:
