For the smokers
 

I'm 31 and I started smoking when i was 13 so I've spent the better part of my life as a smoker and as many of you know its a hard habit to quit. I've tried a lot of different things to try to quit but nothing ever seemed to work well enough to keep me away from cigarettes, I've tried e cigs and gum and cold turkey a few times but never made it to far. I had the zig zag vaporizer recommended to me by my cousin who got one about a month ago and has had good luck with it, I picked one up on Friday and ive only had 3 cigarettes since then, usually first thing in he morning when the craving is the strongest but othetwise the vaporizer keeps me satisfied. The vaporizer cost about 20 bucks and the bottle to fill it cost 5, my cousin says he gets a week out of a bottle which I would say is pretty accurate based off how much I've used and what I have left. I just thought I would share this info for those who may be interested.

Tim it is as bad as trying to quit chewing...BTDT... I had it all but kicked for over a year and then one bad day...and off to the races once again. I have tried everything and some how it just keeps coming back. Almost as addictive as these darn tractors LOL!!!!! :bash2:

This is kinda funny, I was debating posting something about this the other day because I just got the same thing you did (different name brand but same thing). I paid $20 for the vape pen and $7 for a bottle of juice, then bought a couple more bottles two days later. What I like about it is you can get the juices with or without nicotine (and different amounts of it at that), the flavor/taste is a lot better than cigarettes, you can smoke them indoors, they are cheaper in the long run, and no pesky lighters to lose track of :biggrin2:

Just my :TwoCents: but if you are trying to quit, this REALLY is worth a try. Get a $20 vape pen, a good juice with high nicotine (like 16mg), then the next bottle get lower nicotine, then less, then less, etc.

The only reason I decided to post this is because there was some discussion in another thread a while back where others had said they want to quit. I also like that you can get the liquid in different nicotine levels, I haven't tried any flavors yet other than the traditional tobacco but I may try something different when this bottle runs out.

The one thing that keeps this from working for me is they are too big. I'm not going to hang these things around my neck. Does anyone know of a cigarette size one?

Blu makes one thats the size of a cig. The charger/case is the size of a pack

I have a blue CIG and have tried a few others and was never impressed, first of all there far to heavy so unless you plan to hold it with your teeth you always have to have a hand on it. The other thing I don't care for about them is I could never get a good hit on one without trying way to hard, I have no problem getting a good hit on the vaporizer without even trying.

How about keeping us posted on this, the next time I get to town I may pick up one of these things.

I've been smoking for somewhere around 36 years and am REALLY getting to the point where I WANT AND NEED to quit.

I never imagined that the Zig Zag man would ever help me quit smoking.

I'm not sure he's here to help you quit smoking but to simply offer a less harmful alternative, these are not really advertised to help you quit but to be a little bit safer way to get what you need. This is just a stepping stone to help get you where you need to go.

I'd recommend triple berry. May sound fruity, but it is delicious! :beerchug: I've also got envy flavor and lust flavor that are kind of "melon-y". Those two are made by a local shop that produces, bottles, and sells their own stuff. Just as good as the big guy stuff but a couple bucks a bottle cheaper.

I've got 3 bottles (one store had a buy one get one free sale on Black Friday so I had to :biggrin2:) and I plan to switch it up every fill up or two so I don't get worn out on one flavor.
