New to me 100

Hello I just bought my first Cub Cadet 100! Glad to be part of this site. I have a few questions. First it does not have any rear fenders. Are they available? He would sell me some for $250 How about a rear three point hitch? Also he would sell me a hitch for $175.The last question is I can purchase a creeper gear tranny for about $125.00 is it worth it? This is just going to be a restoration. Maybe find a blower for it for the drive. Thanks for any and all help! Pictures to come soon.

Fenders for $250 is bit high, but if they're in great shape not bad. I paid $180 shipped to my door for the fenders in my pic. The rear hitch for $175 is high. I recently sold 2 rear hitches for $110 shipped on this website. The creeper for $125 is a deal.

Here's my 100

Enjoy your 100! I agree with bolivier with the prices. My only worry is it seems like the guy you're buying from knows what stuff is worth and trying to get top dollar. Creepers can run easily from $200 - $300 so at $125 I'd be worried it was not in great shape. Make sure all the parts are included cuz they get expensive to replace. Also, check to see how worn out the hole is where the drive shaft coupler attaches. The hole can get egged up and that's not great. I'm not trying to be a bummer but all those prices just don't jive to me :bigthink:

Either way, have fun with that 100 and I hope we see some pics soon :beerchug:

Thanks for the info. The parts I'm looking at are from a different seller. I'll post some pictures next week. I know it needs a battery what does everyone recommend?

:Welcome2: boliver is right on the prices. If the fenders need nothing but installation, it may be worth it tho. Keep in mind you need a shorter drive shaft for the creeper. That is a good price on the creeper tho. :beerchug:

Welcome to the addiction!., uh I mean hobby yeah hobby. I've got two 100s they are great tractors. As far as the options prices go, I would look for between $175-200 for fenders, and I mostly see the rear lifts go for right around $125. Like the other guys said the creeper is suspiciously cheap. Personally I wouldn't put a creeper on my tractor unless I was going to put a tiller on it. I feel that it weakens the drive line.

Good looking 100

Congrats on the 100, the guys are exactly right about the prices. Check the creeper out to make sure it's good, and make sure the coupling gear comes with it. I think a new coupling gear is about $85.00 new, and very difficult to find used.

Sounds like the guy has the right idea about selling...

I have a 70 that I would like to sell, for one money.

Add $200.00 for the fenders

Another $350.00 for the engine

$150.00 more for the seat

$175.00 for the 3 point

$125.00 for the deck... I might be able to come out, on it like that.
