129 hydro
I bought a 129 a couple of weeks ago. I bought it non running. I have not messed with it too much yet. The question I have is it does not have the hydro release lever on the side like my 125 does. But we were able to push it and it was rolling free. Do you think the hydro is bad or the check valves stuck

It's probably got the automatic valves. Once the tractor sits for a few minutes after shutdown, you can just simply push it without fooling with a lever.
Here's a pic of the auto vs the manual: |
I pulled the tunnel cover off this morning and it looks like it has the manual valves. The tunnel cover does not even have a hole for the release lever on the side. but it has a slot on top for a creeper shifter

Then your tractor has the wrong tunnel cover. A 129 shouldn't have a tunnel cover with a slot for a creeper.

If so, that is why it pushes easily. |
one of them was and the other was not
