Uh-oh, got one, now looking at 2 more!
Hey Guys,
I just picked up my first Cub. She's a CC 124 semi project. Run's smooth and quiet, mowing deck also smooth and quiet. It has issues that I have yet to determine, but so far I've discovered the gas tank is leaking from the weld around the nipple and the steering seems to have some issues as it is really sloppy. It hasn't stopped raining since I brought her home so I haven't had time to really get into seeing all I have to deal with. It seems the hobby/addiction has already taken hold as I have been checking out a couple of other machines. I have been viewing lots of info on this site since I bought it and this is truly a great source. My guess is I will be asking lots of questions once I start, so I hope all of you knowledgeable folks will be patient with this newbie. Thanks in advance... Lars |

:Welcome2: Lars! Glad to have you. You definitely have Yellow Fever! There's no cure, but getting more cubs seems to help.

Congrats on the purchase! Where are you guys at in PA? I'm in NE PA.

Jason P.S. Growing up in Bangor, did you ever, or do you still go to the Jacktown tractor shows? |

Have you ever heard of the Hilltop Auction in Bangor? Its a John Deere dealer that has a yearly auction every year, typically there are a hundred or so tractors for sale...you can pretty much buy anything you need there, however a lot of it is junk! It's actually this Saturday and I'll be there looking for wheel weights, a plow and some seats!! |
