Plowing and Plow Info
I think this is the article that Ed (EDW) was trying to link:
http://open-furrow.soil.ncsu.edu/Doc...ard%20Plow.pdf FWIW... Brinly Documentation http://www.brinly.com/graphics/manuals/PP_51BH.pdf Speaking of plowing... I have not had any seat time since Ball Hollow PD and I am definitely ready for the spring Bama PD! |
[QUOTE=nashcub;305376]I think this is the article that Ed (EDW) was trying to link:

Brinly Documentation http://www.brinly.com/graphics/manuals/PP_51BH.pdf The Brinly plow in the second doucument, can anyone give me an idea on the value of a used one in good shape. I saw one for $100, is that a reasonable price?? I have no knowledge about plows. Thanks for any input. |
I'd say it's really a fair enough price if it is all there and not overly rusty or beat up.

My local Cub Cadet guy wants $150(he still has several tho), new they are $349.

finsruskw and 64fleetside, thank you.
It is on local CL. I don't really need it but you can never have enough toys. Hard to tell condition from pics, so I'll be pondering. http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/grd/4847963557.html |
That has a coulter AND it looks in great shape. It'd be gone already here.
|
Looks fine to me also. I'd be over there with a Franklin.

I would be all over it too. They rarely come up in my neighborhood and when they do, they are atleast 2 Franklins.

Well I got a reply already. He would not accept my offer.
I'm still thinkin'. Trouble is I don't have the hitch either. That will be more $$$. Alas, what to do, what to do! |
