Need Opinions.

My trucks battery is dead. Unfortunately its pulled into the garage and I can not get to the battery with out backing the truck up first. Do you guys think that putting the truck in neutral and running a two strap between the hitch ball on my tractor and the truck, then slowly pulling it out a few feet would be a bad idea? My only real concern is too much stress being put on the tractors hitch which is attached to the back of the gearbox access cover on my 1811. Do you guys think that will be a issue? Two people can easily push the truck, but Im trying to avoid having to bother anyone.

I have pulled a F-250 4x4 with my 784 with NO problems.

Unless the hitch bolt holes/transaxle housing is broken already, you will NEVER have more traction than your tractor can pull.

Stopping is the bigger of the related problems.

Be careful I'd hate to hear that you got run over by your own truck.

That had crossed my mind, but I dont think its going to be a issue due to the combination of flat ground and small distances its being moved.

Roland...If I read that right, I believe he said that his drawbar was bolted direct to the Cast Aluminum differential housing.....doesn't he need to have his drawbar mounted on the 3-pt lift bracket, so he's pulling with the frame and not that Cast Aluminum??

Well........I pulled that ole F-250 with the Stock Drawbar. Maybe I shouldn't have, but I did and it held up just fine.
