Should I buy these tractors?
2 Attachment(s)
I don't need them, but I wouldn't mind saving them from the scrapper.
one needs rings and the other needs a carb. count on batteries for both and plenty more......... thoughts? |
If the price is right! I'd try and buy them. Offer $75 ea or have him shoot you a price.

scrap isnt paying much for iron these days,$ 50 bucks each is double scrap price. i would buy them and save them from scrap, even as parts machines or fix one and part one.

thanks, guys.
I'm gonna look at them tomorrow and will report back. I have a feeling I'll be making some room in the yard. |
Save them for sure. I'm sure if they could, they would have checked the organ donor box on their licenses!

I agree with the others, spare parts is better than being scraped. |
Plus it looks like you might get a boat anchor

Coming here with that question is like asking a barber if you need a haircut.
Of course we would say buy them! Just don't pay too much. I wish I could find a QL parts tractor near me. |
For the right price, Every Cub is worth SAVING!!! No I know you do not pay $1000 for those two, but $100-150 for the pair would not be "bad". Still very high for me. I usually pay that much for runners but they are usually pretty beat though. But I like the beat ones. Means they have a History. A personality. A long lived past. No 2 alike. I also do not "restore" mine either. Other than mechanical repairs, they look the same as the day I brought them to their new home. I would actually like to find a "beyond" repair, complete QL for a special project.
For the right price, BUY THEM. Take care and Enjoy!! John |
