k301 rebuild question
 

thanks for all the help on the k241. another question, going back together with my 301. There are two timing marks on the crank one closer to the gear and one further away, which is supposed to line up with the dot on the cam? I also have removed the balance gears if that makes a difference.

One mark is for the cam one is for the balance gears. The Kohler sevice manual tells you which mark is which.
