I'm thinking the same. Red front axle, IH serial #tag and black aluminum rear axle. Nice tractor though!

Key in the right location, throttle is correct.... I don't see anything that makes me think it's a clone. :Unknown:

Come on..... he said he painted it. He could have made anything, any color he wanted. We have no idea what color it was...

Diesel's were not made until 1984. I'd like to see a close up of the serial # tag. Did red tractors still have IH tags after 81?

I know what you guys are saying about the tag. The IH tags were tiny though. That one looks bigger. I'm pretty sure that my CCC built 582's tag is that size. I don't think that the CCC built red ones had that big tag, (like the yellow machines) but it was bigger than the IH tags. I'm at the shop and both my red ones are at home. I have a IH built 682, and a CCC built 582, and lots of later CCC's, so I can compare. Good eye guys, but I'm not convinced just yet.....

Anyone else have a machine they can look at real quick or grab a pic of?
