Internal Brake Disc

I thought I would show a picture of re-surfacing an internal brake disc.
I removed about .01" per side.

Why?
Bad finish?

I never turned a internal disc brake.

It had some pitting and some heavy dings from PO. I'm putting in new brake pucks from Midwest Super Cub, so I want them to last. The old ones were almost down to the metal housing.

I never turned the internal brake disc. I'm more concern the disc will be on the thin side and you won't have very much adjustment left. Let use know how everything turns out.

I had a few disc that had some minor pitting. I reused them with no problems.

just a fyi , the ones from Midwest are not as thick as the originals.
