Newbie

Hello everyone.
My name is Robert Gerlt, but I usually go by Bobby which is what everyone in my family and hometown calls me.

I just found this site yesterday while searching for information on my IH Model 2 tiller.
I have owned Cub Cadets for the last 18 years or so and I still have the first 1250 I purchase back then.
I currently own 4 (129, 1250, 1450, 800) with another one on the way.
The 129 & 1250 were completely rebuilt, painted & decals replaced 12 & 15 years ago respectively and I have used them ever since for mowing, gardening, pushing snow, dirt and rocks, and hauling.

I'm still astounded at how well they hold up year after year.

Over the last few years I have suffered several health problems and injuries which have prevented me from tinkering with my Cubs much, but hopefully that is all behind me and I can get back to one of my favorite pastimes.

I have some questions on the Model 2 tiller that I will post up in the appropriate forum. Hopefully someone can help me out and I will be happy to share any information I have or can find.

Thanks for creating this site and happy to be here.

Bobby :Welcome2: Hoping you can get out and start spending some more time with your cubs. We really like pictures here so when you get a chance we would love to see them.

Thanks guys.
I'll try to get some pics soon, although I'm a bit embarrassed to show them. You have to realize that I use 3 of them often and it's been a while since rebuilds on 2 of them. The other has not been rebuilt, just used and the 4th one I bought for parts.

Bobby mines farm all red but it's all mine and I'm proud of it. I've seen some of these guys that taken some rust buckets and made something great out of them. We don't care how they look just that you have one or ten and that you enjoy this addiction err hobby as much as we do.

I'll even post a link to my 122 so you can see the red I'm talking about. http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=3368
