Model 2 Tiller to 1450 Tractor
 

Guys I have a Model 2 Tiller that I have installed on a 1450 Tractor.

My only hold up at this point is in trying to figure out what length drive belt I need.
I have tried using a piece of rope, but getting it around the clutch pulley through the mule drive and around the gearbox pulley and figuring out what to allow for the proper tension has made it all but impossible.

Does anyone know the correct belt length for this application?
It sure would save me some time and trips to the store.

IH-61959-C1 7/16 X 145 1/2" from your CC or CaseIH dealer or one of the sponsors here. Get the correct belt, a hardware-store belt isn't gonna last.

P.S. I know all about the hardware store belts. I learned that lesson years ago.:o

That's the belt that I just installed on the same tiller tractor combination and it worked perfect. If it's set up right, the clutch will slip before the belt.Surprised me as the belt is not very wide for the load. It was $43 at the Case IH dealer.
