I'm happy I wear my cycle helmet when clearing snow

A few years ago I started wearing my old motorcycle helmet when throwing snow on my cub cadet.

Today really paid off. I was doing the final clean up when I threw a chunk of ice the size of a baseball out of the chute of the QA42............

Right against the basketball backstop and directly off the helmet right above my eyes ( forehead level )

I'm pretty sure that would have been stitches if I wasn't wearing the helmet. :biggrin2:

Good that you didn't get hurt and a good tip for others. :beerchug:

Only you would try to play basketball with a Cub. :biggrin2:

Yes a cab would be better but I do the best with what I have :beerchug:

I had to be perfectly squared to the backboard and the correct distance back to "make that shot".

Lucky me :beer2:

Of course we need a picture of you wearing said helmet.

I don't have a hoop so I go unprotected...

Just goes to show us life is full of surprises when you least expect them. Be prepared.

But the helmet has an added bonus of keeping your head ( and the rest of body ) nice and warm.

I used your sleeve hitch drawbar to do that today too. You can't see it but it's there! :beerchug:
