Grand slam of Supers
1 Attachment(s)
I finally completed my Grand slam of Supers. Just picked up a nice 2072 tonight. This completes the my grand slam 1572,1772,1872and 2072. Like most siblings they are very similar but very different. The 1572 is the worker of the bunch with a rear PTO and 3 pnt. This tractor is a beast ready for work anytime. The 1872 with 3 pnt is my trailer Queen about as close to show room as you can get on one of these tractors, only comes out for shows. The 1772 with 3pnt does a little work but not too much comes out for plow day and shows his little brother how it's done. It is too early to say where the 2072 will fit in but spring is coming so I am sure I will find out soon. Now it's time to start on the next slam of plastic nose Supers.

So which one are you mow the grass with? I think a 60" Haban is in order for the 2072.:biggrin2:

I mow with the 1572. This past season I had the valves adjusted as well as the pump and injectors and anything else that can be adjusted. What a differance I thought it was powerful before but now it is a beast. Runs much better that the 1772 which already runs good. Gonna do the same to the 1772 this year. I use a 50C or 44C to cut with. I am not a fan of the 60" Haban's too heavy and hard to get on and off also puts more strain on tractor. Not trying to start controvercy over best deck here just my opinion. Got home late last night with the 2072 need to get it off truck and get some pics not in a hurry this morning it is 6 degrees out.

His machines are very impressive. I see them every year at PA Plow days. Pictures don't really do them justice. :IH Trusted Hand:

Sam I have had several 2182's very nice tractors but I am just not a fan of the plastic. I know many think the 982 is the one to have so I searched for years for a nice one. When I finally got one I was disappointed. No power steering or front outlets. Again I am not trying to start debate just my opinion. We all like what we like and that is ok. Cubs-n-boxers Thanks for the compliment. Much appreciated I work hard as I am sure we all do to make our babies look thier best. Say hi at the next plow day I plan on being there with all four supers

I was just kidding about you needing all the other Supers. You have some of the best looking Supers I've ever seen. Congrats. :beerchug: |
