QA36 belt tensioner
 

I'm sure this is something simple, but I'm having trouble keeping the belt tensioner tight! There is a bent metal tab that should be stopping the tensioner handle from spinning, but it seems to vibrate to the back of the blower and allows everything to spin loose. Anyone have a pic pf theirs?
I'm thinking that tab isn't bent right.

My qa42 has 4 3/8 bolts you tighten to prevent it from loosening up. They are located to the left and right of the gear box

There are supposed to be 4 spacers in the 4 slots that the bolts go in, so the two plates slide on each other to get your adjustment.

Yes, the tab is supposed to prevent the tensioner from backing off.

I don't have a picture of one, many of the guys have made modifications to keep it from loosening up .
