For my dad
 

I would like to send out a prayer request for my dad Charles. He went for a colonoscopy two weeks ago and found he has colon cancer. They caught it fairly early it's about the size of a silver dollar. He went for another scan Monday and it has NOT spread any further thank god! He's going to see the chemotherapy doctor and radiation doc tommorrow. Their going to do that first to shrink it then surgery to remove the rest. He will be 70 on April 20th. We pray that this works and makes a full recovery, can't imagine life without him! He was working full time until a few weeks ago 40-60hrs a week driving a concrete truck. We farmed until 96 and lost the farm. He's drove since 99. Just want to say thanks to you all , with gods help he will be fine! And please all you guys and gals get tested for colon cancer. It's not fun, but a helluva lot better than not being tested. I will keep you guys posted on how things go. Thanks so very much, Brian

Thanks guys! I appreciate all the prayers and well wishes! It means a lot to me! Talked to my mom today he goes in next week to have a port put in for chemo then he now how's two tattoos marking the spot to do radiation treatments. He will go for treatment 5 days a week for 5 weeks then they will give him some rest, then they're going to do surgery. Thanks again, I appeciate all the prayers!
