1864 carb
I pulled my carb apart to clean it. Its a keihin # 24 053 32 and it looks to have 1 adjusting needle with spring behind the solenoid. How many turns out should that screw be. Thanks

I also need the 2 tiny o' rings that go on that crossover tube and was wondering of the best place to get them and maybe the mating gaskets as well. Other than that I think that's all I need on my carb. What's the compression test readings suppose to be around on the command 18.

Did you try looking for parts here?
http://www.cubcadet.com/webapp/wcs/s...5-A/0030850025 I have a service manual for the CH motor I can e-mail you if you need it. |
I'm sure I can get the parts but thought some of you guys maybe had some tricks to getting them quicker. I would really appreciate if you could send me the service manual. Thanks

Could try ace Hwd. "O" rings there go from $ .03- .29 cents each.
Just a thought:bigthink: |

Nope I tried ace hardware and they weren't small enough. They had the smallest that I had in my kit.

Whatever you buy, make sure it's compatible with E 10. Otherwise, the commercially available stuff may turn to mush.

Unfortunately, you are going to have to wait for the parts...... unless you run to your local CCC dealer, there is no "fast" way to order parts. I linked the CCC site more so you had a way to get part numbers, I wasn't necessarily suggesting you order from them. If I must buy from CCC, I buy from here: http://www.cubcadetpartsnmore.com/ They are out of Iowa and I get parts within 2-3 days. |
