Mag 20 starter issue

I have a 2072 that the starter bended doesn't always engage. I have cleaned it and tried a dry lube on it, but still hangs up some. What do you guys do on this?

Clean the bendix screw shaft good and put a heavy oil on it. Guys will say to use dry lube because of dirt sticking ..... yadda yadda, but I've done it that way for years. Tried other "dry" lubes too.... had better luck with oil.
