3 point power down?
.
1541 with a CCC 3 point hitch I can lift the 3 point arms by hand. Is there a quick/easy/cheap way to make them so they don't raise? I don't really need power down, but I don't want them to raise when pulling a yard cart on a drawbar. . |
You could get a 2 piece set collar and clamp on the lift links, just above the lift arm. Just leave enough room for everything to pivot right.

I think Extreme motor works makes a float lock out pin for cat 0. I've seen pictures of it just not sure who had it.

Is it this?

Nope that's not it. It is a rectangle/oval piece that goes in the slot of the lift arm. I'm talking about the lift arm that sticks out of the back of the rear hitch cover plate and the other end attaches to the lift cylinder.

Ok, I got ya now. I've not had fenders off of one yet, do they need to come off to access that part? I looked under there briefly to see how they come off, but all I saw was gas tank lol.

no there should be a hole/slot on the back of your hitch plate on the right side. And when you raise and lower the hitch you should see this lift bar going in and out that hole. I've been searching for that lockout pin for the last 20min and can't find it anywhere. I'm positive I saw it on extremes site but I don't anymore... maybe you should email them. I know that it exist but I just can't find it LOL:bash:
