Sleeve hitch Tiller
If I get a tiller, can I use my sleeve hitch and u bracket or will I need to make a 3 point hitch? This is more geared toward using an original cub tiller. Of course, other options/ideas won't be stepped on.. (ex. Other brands not using a sleeve hitch)
Thanks in advance! |
The tiller gearbox mounts to the back of the tractor where the lower 3 point bracket is, the tiller mounts to the gearbox and is lifted with the 3 point.

So a sleeve hitch and u adapter won't run my tiller?

Please look here
http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/showthread.php?t=4 and in any one of these http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=4698 that should give you more than enough ammunition to come back with some real questions. And stop saying "Sleeve hitch Tiller"... It's kinda like saying "curve ball bat" or something... The tiller mounts to the three point hitch. It does not mount to a sleeve hitch adapter. |

Don't give him too hard a time. I wasn't sure either. So a tiller requires a 3 point? or it just attaches at the same places?
I thought there was a motorized tiller attachment than was essentially a pull behind tiller that would fit a sleeve hitch. Maybe I invented it in a dream. Curve ball bats would be a great idea, but with my spitball bat and my knuckle ball bat in addition to my fastball bat, there's just no more room in my bag. Jbo |
One of you Stars owes me a new monitor and keyboard, it hurts when Scotch comes out through your nose. :biggrin2:

Sorry I have a buddy who has beat the "difference" between a sleeve hitch and a 3 point into my brain.
