Battery tender

Just curious if any of you guys use battery tenders? A buddy of mine told me about them years ago. Had them 4 years now and still have the same batteries in the cubs. Not bad, I'm used to buying new every year. I waited till the tenders were on sale, something like 23 bucks each.

battery tenders work great and they definitely help extend the life of the battery. another thing i do that really seems to help is unhook my battery when im done using the tractor, i have a wing nut on the positive terminal so i don't need tools.

I have a smart charger that charges the battery, then tends it after. Its great because you can use it for both reasons.
