Mulching Blades
 

I have a Cub Cadet 1541 with a 46" deck. I would like to put mulching blades on it. Any ideas if this will work? Should I close off the discharge chute?
If this will work, any recommendations on type or brand of mulching blades to use?

I appreciate any thoughts, suggestions, and recommendations on this idea.

I went to a couple tractor service/parts outfits inquiring about mulching blades for my 50 inch deck and was told that they are not available. There are probably some out there that will fit but finding out which ones is the challenge.

What model decks are you guys using? I find it hard to believe that no one makes mulching blades. :bigthink:

As far as the 46" deck it looks like Oregon makes mulching blades that should fit.
