My 1980 IH cub cadet 582 stayed original with the opposed briggs twin cylinder 16 horse new clutch ,throw out bearring decals and fresh powder coat now I'm just waiting on the mower deck and snow plow to get back from the booth. I just work out the bugs and finished. But here's where my last 3 months have got me. I took everything down to bare metal and this is where I'm at let me know if it's good.

Great job. Post some more pics...especially when the deck is complete. |
Look fantastic!
Powder coat was a home brew recipe or a commercial color you purchase from a place like Prismatic Powders or simply Eastwood? Did you apply the product yourself or pay to get it done? |
That is a very sharp looking 582!!! Time well spent.

I hope the powder coat sticks better than it did on the 1862 that I had.
