If ain't one thing, it's another!
Had a rear wheel nearly come off my 1200 this evening! I was turning around and one of the two remaining lug bolts fell out! I looked down, luckily I was in 1st gear and the left rear tire and wheel were all catty wampiss! I thought what the !$#%! Least it didn't hurt the rim, but it ruined the lug bolts. Took two off the right finished my little bit of mowing. It ain't one thing it's another!

Why only 2 bolts insted of 5?

Nuts not bolts, said the Queen "if I had 2,I would be King."

Why 2 because I had to rob two from the right side cause four had worked their way out of the left and the only one left was chewed up. Don't have a clue how they got loose.

Sounds like ya needa get some new ones. Take one of the good ones to autozone or somewhere like it and they should be able to get ya set up...having a wheel drop out like that while mowing can get pretty interesting pretty quick.

Get a stud lug nut kit. Makes putting rims on so much easier, especially if they are filled.

Thanks for the plug Dwayne, I do have a couple of sets left.

That stud setup looks awesome I need to do that to my tractors

Ha, I did the exact same thing, but did not know they had a kit, LOL. You go get 10- grade eight 7/16 National fine 20 threads per inch bolts 1.5 inches long and screw them in the backside and then you can use chrome acorn mag wheel lug nuts. That how I did mine, works great. Threw a pair of Cragar 3 -1/16 push thru center caps on and it looks sweet. Best mod I ever did for under45 bucks. (bolts $6 MacMaster Carr, triple chrome acorns Ebay 12dollars, Cragar caps Summit Racing 2 for $25)
