I have been told to post here for information regarding my questions.

1. What is the best match and quality paint for my 1864?

2. What number yellow and how much should i get

3. What number white and how much should I get that's good for plastic?

I wouldn't paint the plastic, I'd just clean it real good, but that's me, I'm sure whatever you do will look great!

I struggled with deciding to paint or clean the plastic panels. I used Meguiar's PlastX and lots of hand rubbing. Eventually due to the slow progress, I used a dual action (DA) buffer with a Lake Country white CCS buffing pad and the PlastX. Except for the deep scratches, the panels are now clean, smooth and shiny. It is now easier to clean.

Ok, ill try that route! Thanks guys!
