Command 12.5

working on the neighbors ags 2130. last year it would mow for 30 min before losing spark and she didnt want to spend money so it sat the rest of the summer and all winter, this year i replaced the mag and after mowing about 30 min it started to cut out but would come back to life with a little choke. i pulled the carb to clean it and found it to be really clean inside but i cleaned it and put in a new needle and gasket kit, it still wants to cut out and i assumed it was water in the fuel. i drained the fuel the best i could without removing the tank and topped it off with fresh fuel and it seems much better but still not perfect. it runs great at wot but wont idle without a little choke. any thoughts?

I have a copy of the service manual for that engine that I can e-mail if you want it. Looks like they used 2 different carbs on those. One has an adjustable low speed jet the other is fixed. The Walbro is the adjustable one.

Recently I've been using some stuff made by Chevron called Pro-Gard injector cleaner in carbs that are a little crappy and I like the results. Used to use Sea Foam but I like this stuff better.

sure there's no vacuum leaks? there's a shield that goes between the carb and the head. there's supposed to be a gasket on each side of it.
