Broken steering arm. How to fix? 127
1 Attachment(s)
The Long arm on the left side out to steering assembly has come apart. The ball has come out of its housing. What do I need to order to repair. I can't get the ball to loch back into its connection.
Thanks. |
You can get new ball links at NAPA or other places. Or replace them with heim joints. There is a NAPA cross reference in the parts sources section
http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=36314 Tie rod end is what you need |
You need a new tie rod end.
You can put that one back together and smack it with a hammer to keep the ball in the socket, it will work that way about long enough for a new one to get to you in the mail. FWIW, That's a Wide Frame front axle in the picture. |
Yes, it is a wide frame. It is a 108. Mixed it up with my 127.
Thanks for the cross ref. question. Does the new tie rod end go into the old socket bolt or do I need both. Thanks again |
I thought you said it was on a 127?
It's all one piece when you buy it. |
Thank you for the help on my 108. It is greatly appreciated.
