Grrrr

Yesterday afternoon, around 3:00PM my cell phone decides to take a dump. I rec'd a Text Message with a attached picture from a long time friend. I saw the picture, and expanded it. Then the screen went blank like it does when it times out for inactivity. I tried to revive the phone in the normal way by clicking the start button. That is all she wrote. Thought it might be low on battery life....not so.
I have tried several times to cycle it on/off and reboot..........no success.
Phone is only 1.5 yrs old........:bash2:

I am guessing this throw away world, it is replacement time.:crap:

Take it to your carrier and have them do a factory reset, that fixed my phone when the screen stopped working. The only downside is that you'll lose all your contacts if you don't have them backed up.

I've had to get a new cell phone after having mine for about 4 years. The touch screen doesn't respond right. :BangPC:

Took it to the so called experts at AT&T today. They pronounced it dead. :BangPC:

iPhone 4 by chance? Same thing happened to my wife a couple years ago and to a family friend this weekend. I had a bizzare problem pop up with mine last year with the phone freezing if I recieved a call, it would ring for a half hour or more and you couldn't answer it or hang up or anything. Texting and Internet worked fine though. Sorry to hear about the frustrations making their rounds.

Nope, it wasn't an Iphone.

I have been a Motorola fan for many years. I will get another. Overall, I have had good luck with them, since my first "bag phone".

Not sure what type of phone you looking for but if you want a smart phone I recommend the droid maxx, my wife and I both have them and haven't had a single issue with either. I will tell you that the phone is very slippery but I have mine in an otterbox case and that solve the problem, the case is also super protective and ive dropped mine several times on cement and never had any damage to the phone.

There we go! Just get another bag phone. Best thing is, the data is FREE!

My 2 cans and a string work just fine, can't text or do pics though. :biggrin2:
