My secret project that I've had over 2 years finally done! Just kidding I wish I did it. A BIG international guy restored this 560 case farmall. Did a LOT of work to get that v8 diesel in there. Guys that are familiar with these tractors will know what I mean with the flywheel mounting to the engine. I'm going to be driving her in my hometown parade coming up here soon.

Oh ya I'm glad you caught me. Sorry it is a 560, I get mixed up with a few other tractors he has and my uncles. I'll change it, my bad.:biggrin2:

This pic does not give it justice. this is a very nice tractor.

If that V8 is an IH motor its not hard at all to bolt them up to that bell housing. IH had V8 tractor and all bell housing's are the same from the 560 up. You can bolt a DT 466 right into a 560. BTW, Case had nothing to do with IH in those days.

I don't know what exact motor he put in but I know it was a PITA and he had to do a LOT of mods. So it must have been bigger or different at least.

J-Mech 07-08-2015 11:03 PM

Or he just doesn't know what IH parts are interchangeable.....

Or its a Ford motor or something.

Justin Witt 07-08-2015 11:06 PM

Actually, ya I think it MIGHT have been a ford engine. This guy knows ANYTHING and EVERYTHING about international tractors, parts, engines, ect. He probably knows the most about internationals in Iowa and he's up there on the list of people in the country. When I say this guys big, he's BIG.

what ever engine it is its awfully wide, just think how wide that intake manifold would have to be for the valve covers to be sticking out past the hood.

That reminds me Tim I forgot to mention, he even made those valve covers by HAND. He also made all of the exhaust manifold and pipes.
