I can get these for $25 each. One is a 1320 Hydro and the other is a 71. Don't know what's wrong with them, besides the obvious. Should I go for it?

heck yea,more then 50 dollars in parts worse case .

I figure the hood and steering wheel off the 71 is worth it?

If I remember correctly the 1320 was a great seller at the dealership my dad retired from. I think it had a 12.5 hp Kohler. It also came in a gear drive, think it was a 1315. They were great machines 25 years ago. As for the IH built Cadet, you really asked our opinion should you haul it home? Next pic should be you unloading these in your driveway!:biggrin2:

Lol, hopefully the engine will still turn over by hand? What's the odds?

Myself I would pass on the lawn tractor. The seller would of had burn marks on his palms from $25 hitting them so fast.
