Modify Sears plow - Yes/No?

OK, I have been slowly getting my 782 ready for gardening and yard work. I now have the rear lift and the sleeve hitch adapter.

The dusty shed produced this old Sears plow. It looks to me like I can bolt this part from a Brinly plow to it. I realize there is a wheel missing from the plow, but I know it was used this way in bygone days.

Thoughts? Will this work or will it just make me mad? A sleeve hitch plow is a significant investment for the little bit of gardening I anticipate doing. (I really put the hitch on it for a box blade).

Thanks for your thoughts!

since the plow isn't adjustable you will need to put 6x6 blocks under the left wheels of the tractor and have the plow attached and sitting flat on the floor so you know where to drill the other hole.

Thank you, sir! I would most certainly have not thought of that.

I'd modify it. The coulter you'll be fine without it. Happy fabbing!
