Saw this on Craigslist and just picked it up. Have been thinking about rear blade to help with snow removal and figured $30 was a fair price to try. I do have to build a frame that I can bolt on for my cat 0 3pt hitch. Any examples out there? |

Find a place to lay low for a while, until the heat dies down. $30 for that is quite a steal!

Guy found it while cleaning out scrap steel for someone. He knew enough not to scrap it. It was on Craigslist for over a week at the $30. So it wasn't like I beat him down on the Price. I suspect he knew it was something when I never questioned the asking price.

Uh, you mean you only paid $30 for that?.....I hope you bought a lottery ticket on the same day!!! What luck some fellas have. You did quite well and I could certainly have used a blade like that when I put in a 140' retaining wall. Would have been real nice to back fill with that blade.

Nice find on the blade !!!
There is a manual in the Implements Library that may help. |
Great deal you got there. Congrats!

Took a little time today and built an adaptor to cat 0 for the rear blade. I utilized the existing bolt holes to attach the adaptor. A couple quick passes up the driveway and things worked great. Have a few minor improvements before I paint the adaptor. Also now that things are working it is time to clean up and repainted the rear blade.

I have a Brinley BB-360 that came with a 1450 I picked up a couple of years ago. It's behind my 1000 and gets a lot of use. I scrape up my wood splitting area in a fraction of the time it would take to rake it and it looks better too.
