HD Cotter Pins ??
 

Does anyone know where you can get small , heavy wire cotter pins ??

I am talking about the kind that was put on our Cubs back in the day , the kind you can hardly bend. All i can find in the small cotter pins is the flimsy kind that isn't much better than a paper clip.

There are several grades of cotter pins, I haven't looked but try McMaster Carr, my guess is they're more likely to have them than anyone.
