Snowblower pulley

Since the 782 died, I am now in the process of converting the tools over to the 1450.

Is the QA42 snowthrower I have going to work if I change the belt pulley? Any other issues need looked at?

Looking at the CCSpecialties website, I get the feeling the pulley on the snowthrower is the same one on the gearbox of the tiller I have. Is this true?

(I have the wrong pulley on the tiller and need to change both out)

As always, you guys are great help, though I don't have much to give back.

As far as I know your right. Not a cheap change over, but try selling you old cast pullies. You should be able to almost break even. The old cast pullies are worth a fair but if I remember right.

:Work:

The QA36 & QA42 were designed strictly for NF Cubs.

The QA36A & QA42A were designed to be adaptable for either NF or WF Cubs.

Pulleys.....

Snowthrower pulley is IH-285247-R92. It was used on models:CW-36, CC-36, QA36/42, and QA36/42A.

Tiller pulley is: IH-485246-R91. It was used on models:: 1, 1A, & 2

I don't know the differences between the pulley other than part numbers.
