YIPE-Buyer Beware!!
Amazingly, it states that he ONLY HAS 1 LEFT. I am a firm believer that a person has a right to name his price on any item that he has for sale, but I must say that this is price gouging at its worst....
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cub-Cadet-St...item46344329fe I cannot imagine paying sales tax on it, too. However, he does offer free shipping! EDIT: Uh, I just realized that this is Patton Acres. I cannot imagine this being a real price, as many of us have done business with Rich before. Surely a typing error? Cub Cadet 123 |
I'd say, least one would think that the decimal is in the wrong place and should be $9.10
|
Somebody mentioned he does this when he is out of an item. That way he doesn't lose the history of how many he sold

I have seen this more times than I have fingers and toes. Someone makes a post about it once a month or so.

The guy is Rich Patton and is one of our Sponsors. This subject has been brought up a couple of times now.

A while back I went to buy a small reasonably priced item on his ebay sight. It said : He is not accepting purchases/best offers @ this time! I didn't recognize the seller till I did some closer looking. WTF? I've never purchased or done any dealings with him what so ever. I only know that the guys here say he has parts, and treats them right. I'm not exactly new to ebay with over 450 purchases and 100% feedback. As it turned out, I found what I needed in better shape for less, so it all happened for the best. I have no clue what is going on. |
I don't know what is going either. I "assume" it is a TYPO. Like you George, use a little common sense, move on, & look else where.

Pretty smart way to preserve all of the work it takes to create a listing like his. |
