Digital Camera suggestions

Hey guys,

Just wanted to know what everybody is using for digital cameras? I need something that is simple, doesn't require special software to retrieve pictures, and easy to use.
My old Kodak has seen better days and my cell phone camera does not take good pictures.
Main uses will be posting photo's on here, ebay, craigslist, etc.
I don't have a smartphone and don't want one.
Any suggestions on make and model numbers appreciated

Thanks:beerchug:

I'll probably take 100 to 200 pictures a year, and definitely don't need professional quality... just decent to good quality.. and on the lower end of the price spectrum

Thanks for the input :beerchug:

Jay, I picked up a decent Canon last Christmas and it's got some bells and whistles or full automatic where the camera does everything I need it to do. That's the setting it's left on, and it does real good. No "smart phone" here either.
It'll do videos also. To view the pictures or to download just remove the card and plug into a card reader on the puter for editing or posting. It was under $125

I'm a Canon PowerShot A3100 IS man too, after my Kodachrome was taken away...:Cry1: Lightweight, great quality, image stabilizer, large viewscreen and very easy to use.

:TTWWP:....could not resist that one.

I have an old Canon power shot SD1000. Never had any trouble with it.

It's a Canon Power Shot SX160IS.
There may be a problem, the wife thought it was a discontinued model:bash2: Check evilpay, might be one out there:beerchug:
Just checked and they do have some, alot cheaper than what I paid:bash2:
Edit, they are all used...

Everyone can do lots of pixels but without good optics it is wasted.

So buy a camera from a company that also makes their own lenses. List The theory is that these companies can afford to use better lenses than companies that have to buy them from outside the company.
