How do I get the green off?
I got called out Saturday to work on a friends JD 262. I was totally surprised by how cheap this tractor was built! Cheap pulleys and cracked plastic everywhere. No wonder he bought a stolen and recovered parts mower to keep this one going with parts! People gripe about the plastic on the Cub Cyclops tractors but they sure beat what is on that JD and cheaper to replace too.
I get to haul it to my place to fix the charging system sometime this winter. I could not get much of anything out of the stator at WOT so something is wrong under there. He is just going to charge the battery every time he mows until first frost. Now that I have laid hands on it I feel kinda dirty, the dirty that soap won't wash off. :biggrin2: |
im sorry to tell you this but the only way to get rid of the green is to saw your hands off.:biggrin2:
