Flea Bay deal of the week
|
The rooftop lightbar makes it all worth it. :biggrin2:

"I was able to find a Sims Company cab for the unit. These were the original cabs for these units, but almost none are available as the factory producing them burnt down and the original prints and tooling have been lost. I was able to find this one in Minnesota, and had it completely repainted and installed on this tractor at a cost of $3500. Having an all glass rigid cab on a tractor is amazing when working in the snow. As with the tractor the cab is heavy gauge steel and was assembled with all stainless hardware.
It comes with a Whelen strobe light bar, another expensive upgrade $650." $3,500.00 for the cab, $650.00 for the lights? Where is this guy, when I have something for sale? |
Just because he overpaid ($3500) for the cab refurb, I don't understand why the next guy needs to as well. :bash2:
I also wasn't aware that tractor could have a 21 hp 3cylinder liquid cooled or 17 hp diesel engine, I thought they only came in supers at that time. :bigthink: Bill |
I like that it started life as a 1440 and has morphed into who knows what.

Sam I figured you would be all over that being a cyclops guy. LMAO:beerchug:

OK, maybe it's another angle he is trying to play.
Maybe the Mrs is on his case about the amount of money he has in the tractor and he agreed to put it up for sale. Either that or he's just trying to sell an overpriced tractor. |
