1200 gas tank fitting

The gas tank fitting on my 1200 needs to be replaced. I don't know how the fitting comes out of the tank and how a new one in installed though. The fitting in there now just spins around.

It just pulls out through the rubber bushing that holds it in place.
If you are gonna install a new one, I would go ahead and replace the bushing as as well with a fresh pliable one.

Be careful, some fittings have a screen that sticks into the tank
The rubber grommet is prolly cracked/hard, very common.
On replacing, I lube it and put the grommet in first then the fitting into it.:beerchug:
