Birthday present from my daughter

Hi guys, last Thursday was my 33rd birthday and my 3-year old daughter (with the help of her mom) made a counting book for me to share with her. it's really cute, but I got the biggest chuckle from the last page!

I told my wife afterwards I only have 6 old tractors so far, I need 4 more! :biggrin2:

more pics

My daughter has taken a lot more interest in the tractors lately, even so much as to kick me out of the drivers seat! got a few amusing pics, one of her "driving the school bus" and taking myself and my parents to "school" in the cart. other one is where she wanted to drive the tractor into the shed, and I had to "ride along" on an improvised seat.

Looks like everybody's having a good time, glad I'm not the only cub guy stuck with a JD cart.:biggrin2:

ha, not sure what kind of cart it is, it was decorated to look like a JD but underneath that it's a dark yellow and cream color, I'm thinking maybe an old sears. no ID markings anywhere.

3 years old, what a great time of life, for all of you. Thanks for sharing.

That's cool Ian, she's having fun and you are too. I've got one about a year older than her and he kicked me out of the seat too. Now does laps (supervised of course) but it's great to see and makes it all worth while. Now can't wait until my daughter gets into it too. Like the helmet idea, mine wears one too!

Thanks! The helmet is from "tricycle practice." Her day care does an annual "trike a thon" for St Jude's hospital, and my parents loaned us my mother's tricycle from when she was a kid! I remember riding it when I was little at my grandmothers house, and now it's on to the third generation and still in excellent shape. I believe it's a Taylor. It's incredibly sturdy, I could ride it myself if my legs bent that way still! And yes, we are all having fun. She even comes with me to "help" ( meaning steal all my tools) when I fix machines for friends. Gonna be a great shop hand someday!

Great pics and present! My daughter recently turned 2, she loves being out on the tractor. Every time we go to the shed it's "wake up tractor" and when we close the doors she waves and says "night night tractor". The other week she told me "daddy off", I was a little taken back, I didn't expect that for another yr or so. I put the tractor in first at idle and took my cub for a walk. She couldn't have been happier and was so proud of herself.
