K321 oil seal question
 

Hey guys maybe you can quell my second guessing myself. I had an oil leak come out of no where, the flywheel was throwing oil all over so I'm guessing the oil seal is bad. I pulled the flywheel and there is oil all over on the inside of the flywheel and the face of the bearing plate. Two questions, one as far as I know I do not have to remove the bearing plate to change the seal, and two the bearing plate gasket should/would not leak oil onto the face of the bearing plate correct?

sounds like a seal and you can change it once the fly wheel is off, i doubt its leaking between the block and bearing plate.
