1A Tilller with Cat 0 Hitch

Is there any way to make a 1A tiller work with a cat 0 hitch?? I have a Cub Cadet 882 and I'm not very familiar with the newer Cubs just curious if there is a way to make it work. As always thanks for any and all advice

The correct Tiller for the 882 is the 190-400-100

Sell the 1A and find a 400. Correct tiller for the 882 per the Cub parts site is a 400 8 HP Tiller, 190-400-100.

I think Aaron at Xtreme Motorworks sells the kit to mount the older tillers on a Cat. 0.

I will do that. Got to get a cat 0 hitch first and then I'll get the adapter. Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it

If it is as easy as that, won't you also have to change the lower pulley on the tiller to accept a bigger belt to match the PTO belt size?

..... Well... Yes.
That's no big deal. The tillers were made for the '82 series as well. The pulley is easy to find and install.

Thanks! I've been leaning towards this myself now that I have an 882 w/Cat 0.
Anyone have a number for the belt that will be req'd as well as the pulley?

You can find all of that on in the parts lookup on CC's website, or partstree.com. The belt length may vary if you build your own adapter. There is a Woods pulley that works in place of the CC one. You can find them on evil-bay for around $35.
