Interesting Attachments / Tillage Tools

I was browsing the good ole YouTube while eating lunch and came across a couple videos I thought were quite interesting. I am just thinking how neat many of these would like behind a good ole Cub Cadet. But, many of them appear to be made for fast ground travel like an ATV or UTV, but still, I thought they were very neat. Enjoy...

They would do a better job at a slower speed. Not impress with the speed.

The plow is an good example.

I would love to have every one of those in that first video for my Cubs :biggrin2:

I'm with merk. Farming isn't meant to be fast. You also wouldn't require a helmet to till land with a cub. :bash:

they do look like fun implements though.

That poo collector looks like it would be great for lawns and leaves. Sucks that you'd have to get off to empty though...

I am sure it would not be too dificult to modify that little design flaw. For guys like me that hate gettin out of the seat once your in it!

No tillage tool is made for "fast travel". Interesting thing is, when your on a garden tractor (or an ATV) pulling tillage tools, what may in fact seem fast, isn't. For example: Most everyone knows when plowing with our gear drive cubs, second gear is the gear of choice which means you will be traveling at around 4, maybe 5 mph. On a cub, bouncing around in a field...... that feels pretty fast. In fact it is not. Pulling a moldboard plow with a farm tractor you would run at around 6mph. (Give or take, depending on soil condition and load.) The big tires make the ride better and also seem like your not moving as fast. In those videos, it looks like they are pulling that stuff fast.... when in fact it really wasn't fast at all.

Good point. A farmall H w/ a two bottom genius plow in 2nd gear is a mild walking pace for me at 6'0". Seems faster when you're driving. Depending on the soil type, if you can get it into 3rd, that gets busy quick when you get to the end of the furrow and have to turn and lift the plow at the same time. :beerchug:
