Forum observations
Sure are a lot of guests on the site right now. More than i'm used to seeing. Maybe these lurkers should join and identify themselves. Mike:biggrin2:

To add, I am sure you have noticed the "one and done" members, where they wanted to sell or buy something, or get some advice, and they are gone when they obtain what they came for. Part of the game. |
This is very common on every forum, to some people cubs are just a tractor they happen to own and only think about it when it's broke down. Fact of the matter is that we're dealing with 40 and 50 year old lawn mowers and the younger crowd isn't really interested so its up to the older crowd to keep it going, I may only be 32 but I couldn't imagine spending my time else where as this forum is a great resource with great members. My wife is addicted to Facebook and she's always trying to get me to join but I never will, Facebook will steal your soul.:biggrin2:

I'm not disagreeing with anyone, but aren't we all guilty of "visiting" websites, finding out what we want to know and then moving on?
I kinda thought that the internet was designed to pass along information. It is sad to know that there are people out there whose Cub Cadets are just an old lawn mower and have no real appreciation for them. One mans trash... |
Some of those guests are users not logged in. I browse at work and most of time I'm not logged in, unless I want to post something, so I would show up as guest.*There's also crawlers - Google, Bing etc that probably show up in there as they hit different pages. And of course, people who just need information and find it here using Google.

You guys do know, they have Cub Cadet stuff on FaceBook too, correct?
I'm on Facebook, I keep it light hearted, just fun stuff. Good way to keep in touch with old friends / family. FaceBook is just like any other thing on the web, it can be good, or bad. Just depends on how you interact with it. To each his own. |

Tim, I agree with you 100%!! With a few exceptions. This is my youngest boy, 4 in pic. He loves these old cubs just as much as I do, he was out there the entire time I was swapping the engines around on the 1x4. My older boys were pointing out all the modified pullin cubs at the county fair from the grandstands during the pulls and the time we spent with the owners of those machines in the pits was the hilight of the fair for all of us!
I addmit i was a lerker for a few days before joining this awesome forum, since then I like to see what everyone here is up to as much as possible. FaceBook is spawn from the pits of hell!! Attachment 70918 |
