44c on a 129
 

How much of a headache would it be to put a 44C deck from an 1810 under a 129? I would have both mule drives to work with.

I have done it, only on a 1450 (basically the same thing). You will need to change the Center Drive Pulley on the mower deck, being CCIH-59703-C2.

The pulleys on the 1810 mule drive are about 2" further forward than on the correct one for the 129, the deck will also be setup for a 5/8 belt and the 129 uses a 1/2 belt. If you could find the proper pulley for the deck it should work.

Change the pulley and move the left front hanger (IIRC) to the other hole. Use the 129 mile drive.
