1862

Ok what is the best way to start a cold 1862 with no source of heat and power being out.

Old timers built a fire under stuff back in the day....check for fuel leaks first lol
12 volt drop light and a tarp? Kerosene lamp?

I have a fuel leak in the gas tank. This thing has been nothing but trouble for me to start in the cold I'm about ready to shoot the darn thing.

Try the drop light then, no fire involved. Mine wouldnt hit either, but we had power so electric heater did the trick.

When I say no power I mean the electric went off at the house so no drop lights I'm on my phone lol

12v droplight works off car/tractor battery i use them working on stuff they get hot enuf to burn your arm like a house current light.

Yea that would be nice to have.

Had them for years, easy to clip to the battery when you open the hood.

Yea I have seen them just never owned 1. Any other ideas because I have some snow to move lol

I'm guessing it's not starting on its own? If not and the battery is dead/dying, I'd make sure to have a good set of jumper cables on hand (assuming you have a vehicle that will start). Enough cranking and it'll pop off eventually...
