341 snow blower belt question

3 Attachment(s)
I have a 341 snow blower attachment on a 2130. I can't seem to get the belt on it correctly. I have two belts one is black and one is green. The green one is smaller. Does anyone know how to route them? I have some pictures:

Do you have the manuals for it? They should show how the belt is supposed to be routed.

No manual. Looked at it online and it only shows from the pto pulley to the back of the blower but is there another belt that goes on the bottom pulley to the front of the blower? I have the green one on is that one correct? the other belt I have is too long. Should there have been a belt on the blower that stays on it when you remove it?

To be honest I have no idea. Post the serial number for your tractor and I'll see what I can find out. I looked at the parts site a few minutes ago and it only shows 1 belt but it mentions a single or a twin cylinder engine. The "Green Belt" is probably not an OEM belt. My guess is it's something the PO had for it.

Where is the serial number located at on the tractor? And some diagrams of the blower shows a drive shaft going from the back to the the blower to the front mine has a pulley.

Serial number should be a sticker on the side of the frame just in front of the foot boards. Most 2000 series it is on the left side but some it's on the right side. Check for numbers on the blower also. As you mentioned the parts show a drive shaft so now I'm wondering what it is that you have. :bigthink:

OK, I've done my Cub detective work for the day, you do not have a 341 blower, this is what you have. 303 40" Snow Thrower, 190-303-100

Go to this site, type in your tractor model number, click on attachments.
